A surprise photo

Anyone who knows my 10 year old son, knows he HATES having his picture taken! He surprised me today and requested a "cool" picture by the brick wall of the middle school (practically in our backyard!) so of course, I obliged! The weather has been so unseasonally nice, I bet it was close to 70 today (In Kentucky!! In January!!) But I'm not complaining... I am a fair-weather kind of gal, I really despise snow and ice and if I had it my way, I'd be soaking up the rays on a beach somewhere 365 days a year! But I digress... back to the photo. I took several, but this is the only one that came close to coming out "right" (in my eyes). I am having trouble with focus issues as I am using a Kodak Easyshare P850 (a fancy point&shoot for those who aren't familiar) while my beloved D50 is in jail... Long story.

So, without furthur ado... the one and only decent shot you will likely see of A for a while. Enjoy it while you can!



I'm kind of in a slump right now. Don't know how much of it is the "winter blahs" I get from less sunlight, and how much of it is post-holiday stress. I suspect it's a good deal of both.
