Our beach vacation!
Well, we're back! We had an AMAZING time! It was so much fun to relax, recharge, and enjoy each other as a family again. With our busy lives, we had forgotten just how much we actually LIKE each other!
Today I've been working on doing the laundry, vaccuuming all of the sand out of the van (that stuff sticks to EVERYTHING!), and starting to pack for our move. It looks like it is going to happen even quicker than we thought- today is Jason's last day at the store here! Yikes! So I really have to get my behind in gear and get some things done. He is taking Wed. & Thurs. off so we can go house-hunting. Keep your fingers crossed for us to find a place FAST! Otherwise J is going to be living out of his suitcase at a hotel for a while... ugh...
Anyway, back to the point of this post- our vacation! It was SO amazing. The kids had so much fun at the beach, playing putt-putt (they have AWESOME courses down there!), we went to the Ripley's Believe it or Not museum- that was really cool-, J, my dad, and I went to the REAL Coyote Ugly Saloon- it's just like the movie-, we did way too much shopping and bought way too many unnecessary souvenirs! But for us this was like the calm before the storm, so to speak. Our world is about to get turned upside down for a while with moving, adjusting to a new city, new schools, new doctors (I'm especially worried about how Austin is going to handle all of this).
Without furthur ado... some pics! I'm not overly thrilled with the artsy-ness of any of these, but oh well... at least I was able to document our trip, right? (These are all beach pics, sorry 'bout that- I just haven't gotten them all weeded through yet!)
Have you ever wondered what kind of dorks wear socks to the beach??? Yep, my dad is one of them! LOL!
I was so busy taking pics of everyone else I forgot to hand the camera off so I could be in pics too! This is as close as I got... whoops...
