An urban adventure!
Devin and I went on an adventure yesterday, driving all around town to scout out the grungiest, most "urban" locations we could find! It was a lot of fun, just the two of us, and we were gone for nearly 3 hours. Of course a few of these locations were clearly marked "No Trespassing", but there was NO way I could resist stopping for just a moment to snap one shot and move on... even though I know I can't use these places for real shoots, and it's a shame! Oh, and HUGE props go out to Renee Oakenful for the FABULOUS actions I used on all of these! She's a ROCK STAR! Check out her stuff, the link to her blog is in my sidebar!
OK, on to the pics!
This is one of the "off limits" areas... sad because that rusty wall was AWESOME!
In the doorway of a massage/aromatherapy shoppe:
Another "off limits" area, but with a preteen boy I couldn't resist the "explosive gas" sign! ROFLMAO!
A cool painted door in the alley by the bank:
Same red door, different action (What a change!)
A neat green marble wall we found by accident:
Another alleyway:
And finally, a creepy one in the old graveyard (but mausoleums are so neat to me, maybe I'm morbid???)
