I'm still alive!
In case anyone was worrying about me! Gosh, it's scary how easy it is to get out of the blogging habit. I can't believe it's been a WHOLE WEEK since my last post! WOW.
I would love to say I've been super busy working, but to be completely honest, I've just been busy with LIFE this week. Dr. appts, spring cleaning (which I am still working on but am almost done!), trying to spend more quality time with the kids and less time on the computer, slowly winning the battle of laundry mountain (ha), you know... LIFE stuff. Boring stuff.
So today my friend Joanne was giving me a hard time about being such a blog slacker, and I made a promise that I would post something- ANYTHING- today! I am a woman of my word, and even though this is surely boring compared with everyone else's fabulously exciting lives, this is what Kaitlyn and I did today:
Well, first, this morning I had an in-home meeting but that has nothing to do with Kaitlyn...lol...
After my meeting, we went >GASP< OUT and ran some errands. Exciting, right? :p
Paid the MASSIVE utility bill (it's been MASSIVE 4 months in a row now!), went to the post office (which always excites Kaitlyn because she gets a sticker), took a little walk around the square downtown since the sun is actually OUT today and it isn't bitterly cold (I'm a wimp and won't go outside if it's too cold, lol), then we came home. She is now in her room eating a peanut butter sandwich (yes, she eats in her room- it's a battle I choose not to fight today) and watching Ni-Hao Kai Lan (or however you spell that). It's a cutesy, toddler-friendly show, I promise. ;)
While we were at City Hall paying the utility bill, she spotted a machine that dispenses rubber bouncy balls. There are two machines: one has large bouncy balls and the other has smaller ones. GUESS WHO needed bouncy balls SO BADLY?
And just because she is such a strange child and I find it hilarious, check out where she put the sticker the post office lady gave her:
Her bouncy balls wanted their pictures taken too:
And then she smiled nicely for me and that was the end!
In case anyone is wondering where my "mojo" went last week... here ya go.
Did I mention I HATE the cold and snow? Is it spring yet?
