art show reception

The art show is officially up! I believe the photos will hang for all of April and May so hopefully I will get good exposure with this! And if nothing else it was WAY COOL to see my stuff hanging in a gallery! :)

Sunday afternoon was the reception/unveiling. We had a pretty decent turnout. Two of my photos even won awards (I didn't even know there was going to be a judging!!!). The photo of Kaitlyn (see my blog header) won "Most Imaginative" and my photo of a line of sailboats in the marina at Panama City Beach won "Most Detailed", so cool beans! I got two certificates that I plan to frame and hang in my office/dining room.

My mom & dad came and brought my nephew, and my other sister came with my niece, plus of course my hubby and kids were there. So it was neat to share this with all of them! (pics to come in the next couple of days of my ADORABLE niece and nephew!!)

It was fun, but a LONG day! The kids all conked out in the car before we even made it out of the parking lot, lol!
