about the peeps..lol...

I thought maybe I should at least explain a little so everyone doesn't think I am completely off my rocker! (even though *maybe* I am... bwahh hah hah...)

My sister Emily and I kind of have a running joke with each other about Peeps candies. I am not even really sure how or when it started, it's been going on for as long as I can remember! Peeps are our most favorite Easter candies. We were super-excited when they started making Peeps for different holidays, so we always buy them. I even buy extras after Easter when they mark them WAY down and I put them in my freezer so I can enjoy Peeps whenever I please! It is a bit of a sickness, really!

Several years ago, Emily and I realized that we were even MORE alike than we thought, when we were eating Peeps and each of us noticed that the other person ate their Peep in the exact same fashion! (and it wasn't just the "normal" biting of the Peep, it is a weird order that we eat each area of the Peep.)

Then we started noticing that they made Peep t-shirts, so we of course HAD to have them! Every year we get a new Peep shirt.

When they made Peep stuffed toys, she bought one for me and one for herself (under the guise that they were for our daughters, lol).

Last year I thought I was being so clever when I posed my Peeps candies in various situations (playing poker, having a tea party, etc).

So in keeping with our Peep "thing", I was feeling a bit silly yesterday and played around. Kaitlyn actually helped me a bit by getting me various accessories from her toy stash. I have a distinct feeling that pretty soon the Peep obsession will have rubbed off on her as well... we are bringing her over to the dark side...:p

So there you have it. As if you didn't think I was strange enough already!
