Spring break, and visiting my parents & sisters

It's spring break here! If only the weather were "spring-like"! It started off nice enough, but we had some major storms move through the other day (hail and all!) and now it's just dreary and cold. Ugh.

I did take Devin & Kaitlyn up to visit my parents & sisters for a few days though. Austin was a party pooper and wanted to stay home with his dad. It was good for them though, to have that bonding time. It's not often they get to spend time alone.

I brought my backdrop (actually a gi-normous piece of white upholstery fabric I got on the dollar rack at Wal-Mart, lol!) and I even managed an impromptu mini-shoot with my neice. She will be turning ONE later this month and I've been promising my sis I would get some good pics of her for her b-day! She is a real stinker though, crawling away and not sitting still, but I managed to get a few:

I made her a b-day party invitation with that last pic, it was simple but it turned out cute!
And here are just a few other random snaps of the kids from lately:

My neice just after eating some BLUE "Nemo" yogurt, lol!

Kaitlyn and my neice playing in the little playhouse (looks like they are up to something, doesn't it?!)

And here's one I snapped of my dd playing at the playground, I don't know why but this pic really strikes me (must be mommy goggles)- she is 2 1/2, but something about the way the wind was blowing her hair and the look on her face made her seem so much older here... she is losing her "baby" looks and really getting her own look about her. I just think she's the most gorgeous thing in the world, but I am SURE I am biased!

Oh, and I am meeting with the mom of my senior in a little while to show her the proofs! I am excited and nervous at the same time. I REALLY hope she loves them! I'll be sure and let you all know how that goes!
