Red door

I painted my door RED because... well... I like the color red- and of course I thought it would make a cool background for close-ups (you know I had to have an ulterior motive in there somewhere right?). The actual color name is RED HOT- and WOWSERS is it ever! I LOVE IT!

I was told the other day about the GAP casting call and the deadline for entries is coming up very soon so I wanted to snap a few new headshot type shots of the kids to enter (I know it's a one in a million shot, but it's fun to dream!). Austin wanted nothing to do with the whole thing since he hates having his picture taken (so I submitted one of the most recent ones I have taken of him, lol. Wouldn't it be so ironic if he got chosen? He would kill me!)

I thought I'd share some of the shots of Kaitlyn. Her hair looked SO GOOD before we went outside- the curls were falling in perfect little ringlets... then we stepped out on the front porch and the wind was blowing, and... you know the rest. I hope the people at the GAP understand...

I'll share the couple of Devin tomorrow... no outtakes for him, he's a professional model at this point (which I LOVE that he likes being photographed- I'm so glad to at least have one willing subject!).

I'm also feeling much better now... still not 100% but I actually feel like a real person now so that's a vast improvement!
