Spelling Bee

Austin was in the Spelling Bee yesterday. He got out in the third round. But I am still SOOO proud of him! He is in 6th grade and was competing with 7th and 8th graders as well. He was only one of two 6th graders who made it to this final round from the preliminaries earlier this week. So that in itself is awesome! He was kinda bummed about getting out on an "easy" word. He just kind of misunderstood what she said, then spelled the word he THOUGHT she said (which, btw, IS an actual word too!), so of course he got it wrong and was out. Bummer.
