steel magnolia she wasn't...

Well, my poor magnolia tree has about had it. We had a major line of storms come through the night before last with high winds and loads of thunder and lightning (which of course caused me to be AWAKE all night- I REALLY REALLY hate bad storms!). When we went outside the next day, my poor tree had lost about half of its blossoms... so sad...

I'm glad I got this shot of it before the storms...

I know it's part of springtime, especially for trees, to bloom and then the blossoms fade and fall away to reveal the new green leaves... but still. I was really enjoying this tree and it seems her beauty is being stripped from her too soon! :(

I know... I need to get a life and quit worrying about the darn tree huh? LOL.
