young kids and an old truck

I love the location my sister has my neice's bday parties at! There is a grassy field, some woods, and an old, old truck smack in the middle of the grass just across the road from the party building. Talk about a photographer's heaven! :)

I ventured over there with Kaitlyn, my neice, and my nephew but all of the other kids followed us too- they didn't want to miss out on any fun! The little ones loved sitting up on the old truck and having their picture taken! We had a kind of "assembly line" going there for a minute, each kid got their turn!

The birthday girl Mallory and her "look" she has been sporting this week (can ya blame her- she had been in the hospital with pneumonia all week and been poked and prodded day and night- I would have this look too after all that!)

My nephew Avery... what a cheeser! He is SUCH a good little guy... mine never listened as well as he does!


This one may as well be another nephew to me... he is getting ready to turn 2 as well! Isn't he a cutie?


I used my acid wash action on all of these... I loved the depth it gives to the rusty truck!

(mental note: come back to this old truck in the field with my sister when she is ready to do her trash the dress shoot!)


I don't think I am going to be on theme at all this week (water)... I have way too many more pics from this weekend to share! Oh well. :p
