growin' some audreys...

Kaitlyn is proud to announce that some of her seeds have sprouted!


They are ever-so-tiny, but they are there! You should have heard her squeal with delight when she went to water them today and saw the tiny sprouts!

After they got their drinks, we took them onto the front porch to get some good sun since it is BEAUTIFUL outside today. She was talking to them.

(I totally blew out that photo, in my haste I forgot to change my iso back to 100 and it is SO bright out today!)

She kept calling them "Audrey" and I didn't quite understand WHY (though one of my sisters' name is Audrey...). When I asked her about it, she said, "they are audreys momma... you know, like the plant on tv that likes to drink blood and eated the guy?"

(OH MY WORD)

I just stood there with my mouth open at a loss for words, then it dawned on me what on earth she was talking about! She had watched part of Little Shop of Horrors on TV last night, Devin turned it on and I didn't realize what he was watching at first but as soon as it hit me what it was I made him turn it off (I didn't want her to have nightmares!).

I guess I can KINDA see it.... a little family resemblance maybe? (LORDY I hope not! LOL)
