channeling old hollywood...

My girl Heather from 2peas posted a VERY interesting video of professional photographer Amy Wenzel doing a recreation of that famous "Breakfast At Tiffany's" photo of Audrey Hepburn and I have been OBSESSIVELY poring over old Hollywood photographs trying to get inspiration to do something like this myself! Here is the video:


I asolutely ADORE Marilyn Monroe. She fascinates me. While looking through the Marilyn photos I came across this one on art.com:


The strapless top was just a BIT too sexy for me to try with Kaitlyn... so I put her in a white undershirt. The background was simple enough, I only wish I had a better floor...

What do you think of my version?


Even though Kaitlyn isn't a blonde, I still think she channeled that "Marilyn" look quite well, especially for a 3 year old!

This was fun and it really got my creative juices flowing! Anyone else care to try and re-create an old Hollywood photo? It could be a fun challenge!
