shrimp on the barbie!

Jason is cooking tonight... thank goodness, because I am simply exhausted from taking care of a sick baby all day and TRYING to get some housework done! You'd think those two simple tasks wouldn't be so draining...

I noticed the bright colors and shapes of the shrimp and pepper skewers he was making and snapped a couple of shots... they aren't QUITE what I envisioned in my head but I thought they were fun. We could use a little brightness today!





We are having BBQ chicken on the grill also... but it's not done cooking yet and those pieces of raw chicken on the plate sure didn't look as pretty as the shrimp!
