Fun weekend with family!

I've had fun this weekend so far! It's nice to just "be" and not worry about HAVING to do anything. Just being able to do what I WANT to do is SO NICE! ;c)

We went up to Indiana yesterday (after school) to go to the Mother's Day dinner at my grandma's church. ALL of my family from that side actually CAME! First time in a LONG time we've all been together, and it was awesome to see everyone again. {{warm fuzzies}}

Today was my cousin's ds's first b-day party. I had a blast and took tons of pics (like I always do, lol!). I got permission from all of the parents (my cousins and sisters) to share some of my faves from today.. nothing spectacular, just snapshots, but they're my family and I love them!

Here's the b-day boy- isn't he just the cutest, happiest looking kid in the universe? He ALWAYS is smiling and giggling! I wish MY kids were like that! LOL!

My other cousin's little girl- she's exactly a year older than Kaitlyn- and she is one serious little gal. But I think she is just gorgeous!

My baby sister's little girl- she just turned one a couple of weeks ago! She looks just like her mommy...


Devin decided to climb this tree, then he got stuck near the top and my sister's fiancee had to climb up and help him down! (but don't tell him I told you that, he's got an "image" to protect...lol).


Then he noticed me taking pics, so they had to pose and try to look "cool":


And can you BELIEVE I didn't take a SINGLE pic of Kaitlyn or Austin yet this weekend?! I am going to have to remedy that tomorrow!

I've got tons and tons more, but I won't bore you with my snapshotty pics... I have a few things in the "works" so hopefully I'll have some pics of people OTHER than my family to show you soon! Sigh.

Oh yeah! I also wanted to tell you that I gave the storyboard and other photos to my mom this morning and she CRIED!!! Now, if you knew my mom, you'd know she does NOT just cry at the drop of a hat! That was probably the biggest compliment I've recieved in a while!

And to all you mommies out there... have a very happy mother's day! I hope you are able to spend it with the ones you love, doing whatever makes you happiest! {{{hugs}}}
