Kaitlyn's first haircut!

Well, it has finally happened- Kaitlyn got her very FIRST haircut today! Can you believe she is turning 3 in a few days and has NEVER had her hair cut?!

She was totally psyched up for it, until we got there and sat her in the chair and the lady wrapped the cape around her. I think Kaitlyn was afraid of all the "Instruments", the curling irons, blow-dryers, and various types of scissors. Almost like going to the dentist and him bringing out that huge tray of sharp objects- you just know that isn't going to be good! ;c)

Anyway, she cried. We bribed her with a sucker and the promise that if she was good,we would buy her a new PetShop toy. Plus, her daddy had to let her sit on his lap.

It was over pretty quickly, luckily the beautician worked fast (and thankfully, didn't pull Kaitlyn's hair one bit- we all know what a disaster it would have been if she'd pulled her hair!!!).

My little girl is growing up... sniff sniff...

I know it isn't a drastic change, but I can certainly tell the difference! And I'm hoping the layers make combing her hair a LOT easier.
