make a wish

Well... the bubbles were a bust. Literally. She ran out of "bubble juice" so I feebly attempted to make some with water and dish soap. It didn't work. Apparently I don't know the correct ratio of soap to water. I guess "bubble juice" is going on the grocery list! (teehee... and NOW you get to hear where my new blog banner photos came from!)

Luckily, our yard was due for mowing and we had a few dandelions. Or as K calls them, "wish flowers". She had SUCH a good time running around the yard picking wish flowers and blowing the seeds off. I guess I'll worry about all those new dandelions that will be growing from all those seeds when the time comes, lol! For now, it was nice to just be a kid again, running around the yard without a care in the world, truly believing that just by blowing all the seeds off a dandelion all my wishes would come true.







She couldn't stop giggling! I loved it.
