not heaven, but pretty darn close...

I have loads more pics from West Baden Hotel. I hope you all don't get sick of them! They are still working on the landscaping but once it is all done it will be STUNNING and full of color! And HOW LUCKY AM I that I get to do a portrait session the first part of June on these grounds with a beautiful lady and her beautiful doggie! I am SO excited about it!

Anything that has THIS at its entrance has GOT to be good!


I'll start you off with a far away view of the grassy area with the hotel in the background... that brown area will be filled with color as well. :)

Here is the grassy area where I plan to get plenty of action shots of her playing frisbee with her dog!


There were a couple of different littler buildings on the grounds too that I thought were pretty.


Check out the path to the gazebo! The side will be filled with flowers too.


No fancy hotel is complete without a fancy fountain!




I saw this hedge-lined stairway and it just begged to be shot as well.


Venturing up the stairs I found a small, old cemetery- and I wasn't alone up there! I stood there staring at them, and they stood there staring at me... but it was 3 vs 1 so I went back down the stairs. I was REALLY close to them though and they didn't spook and run away! I only had my 24-70 lens on here!


It was just amazing... my pics can't possibly do it justice. I wish there were a way to take a panoramic photo that included the full circle view! Every way you look it is just sheer beauty! June can't come soon enough! :)
