new table.

For mom & Em (I knew you two would be interested!). It is a "pub table" meaning it is taller than a normal table & chairs. I LOVE it. The chairs are a chocolate brown leather and padded- oh so comfy! And it looks awesome with the red walls in the dining room!



Sometimes it pays to have a husband in the furniture business! :)

Also I wanted to respond to a couple of the comments from yesterday's post:

I don't have a green thumb either, I actually joke about having a BROWN thumb because usually any plant I try to care for dies! Luckily Kaitlyn is in charge and so far she hasn't forgotten to water them...:)

My "lighting" was mostly my external flash actually! I was surprised to see Pat's comment about the nice lighting because it was SO dark out and stormy we pretty much had NO natural light. I am trying to get as good as possible with my flash indoors so that really made my day!

I can't remember what all we planted, but I do remember planting Sweet Pea, Delphinium, Texas bluebonnets, and some kind of hybrid sunflowers. I am sure lots of the seeds got mixed together, so it should be a nice surprise when they do sprout!

I will definitely take pics of Kaitlyn next to the seeds from time to time to track their progress! That's a great idea! :)
