my baby is 12!
I can't even wrap my MIND around it. I can't believe my BABY, my firstborn, is TWELVE today! What the heck happened? He was just a baby, then I blinked and now he's practically a man! Wahhh! :(
He had a great day today though. We took him to Fazoli's for dinner (his FAVORITE) and then his dad took him to Wal-Mart to pick out his birthday presents. He chose a big ole' Nerf gun with a scope and a "laser" sight, a Zoo Tycoon game for his computer, and some new clothes (cause that kid grows like a weed!). He made out pretty well I'd say.
He even- GASP- went out in the yard for a few minutes and let me take some pictures of him! I tried to make them count, cause Lord knows when the next time he's in the mood will be! He seriously HATES the camera so I am THANKFUL for this gift today!
I got a few serious ones...
...but mostly he goofed off. Crazy kid!
He also had his yearly physical today (he hates that!) and he had to get two shots. But now he's good on shots till he goes to (gulp) COLLEGE unless of course he gets hurt and needs a tetanus booster along the way.
He's truly one of a kind, and I wouldn't trade him for the world! Happy 12th birthday Austin! I love you more than you'll ever know!
