ugh.

Sorry to have "disappeared" for a couple of days like that! I have been sick. That nasty sinus/cold/headache/barking like a seal thing. Yuck. I really felt yucky today but Devin had a practice game tonight and he was SO excited about it so I dragged my sorry butt to the ball fields. He did REALLY well, I am so proud of him. He started out playing short stop and even pitched a little and struck out two batters! I managed to snap a few shots of him playing, I promise to post those in a couple of days.

Tomorrow is Austin's birthday. 12. Can you BELIEVE that crap? LOL. He has had the "teen" attitude for years though. He's having a bit of a rough time at school right now. He just found out two of his friends are moving away at the end of the school year so he is really bummed out. Making friends is hard for him, he's not like Devin who can just walk into a room and instantly have 10 best friends. Austin is more choosy about who he hangs with.

Sorry I have no pics to post today either. I just feel so BLAH. Oh wait, I guess I can share the one pic I've taken since Saturday(other than tonight). It's nothing really, just a little project I've been working on and I thought I might document my progress because it's going to take me a few weeks to finish it. I know how to crochet, I'm a little rusty, but I can't sit and do it for long periods of time like I'd like to because my hands cramp up and my wrist starts hurting. Plus this knobby yarn stuff is harder to work with than I thought it would be! Anyway, it doesn't look like much now, but eventually it will be a baby wrap. I thought the texture would be nice for both color and b&w photos. What do you think?


OK, I have GOT to get to bed now. My sinus meds are kicking in and I'm getting dizzy. Sigh.
